ConStdOut function

Usage:

Boolean& = ConStdOut

Legacy Syntax:

Boolean& = CONSOUT

Pseudo-object Syntax:

Boolean& = CON.OUT

Indicates whether or not standard output is being redirected.

Returns TRUE (non-zero) if standard output is displayed on the console screen, or FALSE (zero) if it is redirected to a file or device.

Conversion:

#IF %DEF(%PB_CC32)

  Boolean& = CONSOUT

#ELSE

  Boolean& = ConStdOut

#ENDIF

CON.OUT or CONSOLE.OUT may be substituted for CONSOUT in programs written for PB/CC 6.  The syntax " ... TO Boolean&" may be used instead of "Boolean& = ..."
