ConWndHndl function

Usage:

Handle??? = ConWndHndl

Legacy Syntax:

Handle??? = CONSHNDL

Pseudo-object Syntax:

Handle??? = CON.HANDLE

Gets the Windows API handle of the console window.

It is only necessary to get this handle if you wish to use API functions. If no console has been allocated, returns zero. The returned handle is that of the window, not of the output page. The console window handle is used for such things as sizing and positioning of the console on the desktop. The output page handle is used for writing text into the console window.

Conversion:

#IF %DEF(%PB_CC32)

  Handle??? = CONSHNDL

#ELSE

  Handle??? = ConWndHndl

#ENDIF

CON.HANDLE or CONSOLE.HANDLE may be substituted for CONSHNDL in programs written for PB/CC 6. The syntax " ... TO Handle???" may be used instead of "Handle??? = ..."
